Research Biomedical Engineer
Dr. Matthew Peterson is a research biomedical engineer with research interests in patient safety, rehabilitation, and mobile health. His current research focuses on pressure ulcers, falls, and spinal cord injury, concentrating on prevention, risk diagnosis, and management. He is also a member of the SCI QUERI pressure ulcer workgroup. Dr. Peterson's research teams use measurement technologies such as interface pressure mapping, motion capture, and inertial sensors to examine risk of adverse events.
