Dr. Powell-Cope is the Tampa Site Co-Director of CINDRR as well as the Site Director for the Interprofessional Patient Safety Fellowship Program and HSR&D OAA Post Doctorate Fellowship Programs. She also leads the Partnered Evaluation Center funded by the Office of Nursing Services and QUERI to evaluate implementation of the VA pressure ulcer prevention handbook. She has research expertise in community reintegration for persons with disabilities, patient falls and fall-related injuries, bed-rail entrapments, safe patient handling and mobility, implementation research, program evaluation and qualitative research methods.
